After over 25 years working for some of Europe's largest and most well known names within the travel and tourism sector, the business was initially established in 2007 by founder Paul Cowley, and upon the appointment of Sharon Rowarth to the board, became The Travel Rep Limited in 2010.
 
The company hit the ground running with our direct approach to finding success for every one of our working partnerships. The core ethos is to provide business solutions, development opportunities, sales, marketing and commercial strategies and project managing throughout every relationship.
 
In 2013, the product range was expanded to include staff and volunteer training within the domestic tourism sector and for UK based products and visitor attractions, and the following year the wildlife and nature sectors were also included.

2013 also saw expansion into river cruise, initially assisting with a new entrant into the UK cruise market and then subsequently working with established European brands looking to increase their product exposure and reach to the UK travel trade. After working with a number of river cruise partners it was decided in 2016 to bring in Graham Clubb, a leading figure within the river cruise and small ship sector to formalise these relationships and it was this appointment that lead to the launch of the River Cruise Consultancy brand, a new trading environment for The Travel Rep.
 
2017 saw The Travel Rep Ltd celebrate 10 years of trading with significant on-going partnerships, some of which are now long-standing relationships, and with many successful projects accomplished, on schedule and with positive results.
